Cookies
Tag of the Day uses cookies to track outgoing links from the website to our collaborators.
These cookies are used to tell these collaborators that you reached them through Tag of the Day or Mey Aroyo, giving the creator affiliate commission, and in most cases- landing you with a sweet discount on various online tools.
Tracking your Data
On top of outgoing links that use cookies to track the origin of your click to Tag of the Day and creator Mey Aroyo, Tag of the Day also has a connection to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics is an analytics tracker- tracking the volume of traffic in and out of the website, the device from which traffic came (a Mac, a Samsung…), as well as the location from which you came to visit the website.
Google Analytics also tracks the number of pages viewed, and duration on website.
That information is GROUPED and displayed as a whole, so while the creator can see the amount of people logging from the US, or that a certain % views the website via mobile- there’s no way to know and pin point that it was YOU.
Who we share your data with
With no one.
Mey Aroyo currently has sole access to Tag of the Day Google Analytics.
That does not include the tracking links, affiliate links, that are saved on the platforms you’ve signed on.
How long we retain your data
Data is saved on Google Analytics for at least several years, again- with no way of tracing back to a specific user, and no desire to do so.
Data is saved on website collaborators for a period of 30-90 days IF the user has not created a profile on these collaborators’ websites, and stays in perpetuity in case a user was made. That means- if you clicked on a link on Tag of the Day and used it to sign up for a service such as Place It- they will always know that you were referred to them by Mey Aroyo and Tag of the Day.
Affiliate links & Disclaimer
